Stephen M. Fiore professional photo

Stephen M. Fiore is a graduate of Bentley College (B.A. 1992) and Suffolk University Law School (J.D., cum laude, 1996), where he received awards in both Oral Advocacy and Client Counseling. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (1996), Connecticut (1997), New Hampshire (1999), the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, and the United States Supreme Court.

Since graduating from Suffolk University Law School, Mr. Fiore has focused his practice on Civil Litigation. Prior to joining Foster & Eldridge, LLP, Mr. Fiore practiced as in-house litigation counsel, where he defended claims involving commercial and personal liability, premises liability, products liability, toxic tort/asbestos, and employment law.

Mr. Fiore now specializes in the defense of medical providers and provides risk management advice to health care professionals. He is a frequent lecturer on medical-legal issues and health care law for Continuing Medical Education and Risk-Management Programs.

Mr. Fiore has received an AV Preeminent Rating, the highest rating for Ethical Standards and Professional Excellence from the international rating directory, Martindale-Hubbell. He has been appointed to the Massachusetts Bar Association Health Law Section Council since 2008 and was selected to serve as Chair from 2010-2012.

He was elected to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the New England Society for Healthcare Risk Management from 2014-2016 and from 2021-2022. Since 2007, he has also continually been selected and named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer by Boston Magazine.

Mr. Fiore also participates in local town government and community service. In April 2018 and April 2023, he was elected by the Town of Belmont to serve on the Board of Health. From 2021-2022, he served as Chair. For many years, he was a coach for Belmont town sports programs and also served as a member of the Board of Directors for Belmont Youth Baseball and Softball.
