Shylah N. Maloney is a graduate of Fitchburg State University (B.S., summa cum laude, Dec. 2014) and New England Law | Boston (J.D., May 2018). While in law school, Shylah received the New England Scholar Award and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in the areas of Trial Practice and Law and the Elderly. She was also a member of the Mock Trial team.
Her current areas of practice include defense of medical malpractice cases, general liability and healthcare law. She also represents medical and nursing professionals before state licensing boards. Prior to joining Foster & Eldridge, Shylah worked for a mid-size firm in Andover practicing insurance defense where she focused on premises liability.
In addition to her work at Foster & Eldridge, Shylah enjoys her pro bono work with Lynn United for Change where she provides legal assistance to tenants facing eviction, as well as the Fair Employment Project where she focuses on employment discrimination and wage and hour disputes. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, a member of the Board of Directors for the Claims and Litigation Management (CLM) Alliance, Massachusetts chapter, as well as a member of the Greater Lynn Bar Association, Essex County Bar Association, and Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association. In her free time, you can find Shylah on the slopes at Sunday River or lounging at the beach.
Shylah is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and in the State of Connecticut.
