Rebecca A. Barros is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and Commonwealth College Honors Program (B.A., magna cum laude, 2009), and Suffolk University Law School (J.D., 2015). While in law school, she served as Lead Note Editor of the Journal of High Technology Law, and was awarded â€śBest Noteâ€ť by her colleagues, leading to her note's publication in 2015. Prior to joining Foster & Eldridge as an attorney, Rebecca practiced social security disability advocacy where she represented individuals with physical and mental heath issues seeking disability benefits and she appeared in administrative proceedings throughout New England. Rebecca previously worked as a legal assistant for Foster & Eldridge, prior to entering law school.
Rebeccaâ€™s current area of practice includes medical malpractice and insurance defense law, and the representation of medical and nursing professionals before licensing boards.
