Christian Hinrichsen is a member of Foster & Eldridge's litigation and health law practice areas. He has broad litigation experience in both federal and state trial and appellate courts. Representations include bench and jury trials, arbitrations and administrative proceedings, mediations, applications for injunctive relief, quashing subpoenas, and pursuing discovery through letters rogatory. Mr. Hinrichsen’s corporate counseling includes risk assessment, contract review, and health care regulation for medical providers and insurers. He maintains an active practice across New England. Mr. Hinrichsen is admitted to practice law in the state and U.S. District Courts of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Maine, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Mr. Hinrichsen has been named as a Massachusetts “Rising Star” attorney by Boston Magazine for 2015 & 2016.
Mr. Hinrichsen is the Vice Chair of the American Bar Association’s YLD Health Law Committee, and is co-editor of the Committee’s quarterly newsletter. He is also a member of the Host Committee for the ABA’s 2014 Annual Meeting in Boston. Additionally, Mr. Hinrichsen is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, where he has served on the Civil Litigation Section Council, and is also a member of the New Hampshire and Rhode Island Bar Associations. He is also active with his alma mater and currently serves on the University of Vermont’s Boston Regional Alumni Board. Other memberships include the Oxford and Cambridge Society of New England, the National Eagle Scout Association, the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association, and the Boston Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society.
Mr. Hinrichsen received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont with college and departmental honors. While an undergraduate, he spent a year as a visiting student at the University of Oxford, St. Catherine’s College. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Maine School of Law where he received the Pro Bono Publico award.
